About Emily

Hello! I have almost 10 years of experience working with children, from in-home nannying to elementary school teaching. I taught 4th grade for 3 years in New Jersey while my husband was serving in the US Air Force. We recently moved back to our home state and I am very excited for new opportunities! I'd describe my personality as energetic, caring and structured. I like working with kids because I love engaging with kids and helping them find themselves and learn new things through play. I'm looking for a job where I can support a family and build good relationships. I started working with kids when I was 14 and have had many jobs centered around children and child development. In my spare time, I like to walk my dog and spend time with my friends and family. One thing you should know about me is I love routines and structure while having fun. My skills include activity planning, tutoring and behavior management.
