About Emily

Hello! I'm 30 years old and currently work as an Operations and Records Specialist at BU. Throughout my life, I've cared and worked with a variety of families in my hometown of Manchester-by-the-Sea, as well as in the Somerville and Cambridge areas. In high school, I babysat for several families in my neighborhood and held consistent nannying positions. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked full-time caring for two boys, helping them navigate remote learning while creating a sense of structure, connection, and fun during an uncertain time. I strive to be a positive, calm, and dependable presence for the children and families I work with. I enjoy being creative, inventing games and activities, and encouraging active play, whether that's through sports, outdoor adventures, or imaginative projects. Above all, I aim to foster a kind, supportive, and communicative environment where children feel comfortable, engaged, and valued.
