About Emily

Hello! I have been babysitting for families in my community for 10 years for children of all ages and backgrounds, along with 4 years of in-home nannying experience and one year of assisting in a kindergarten classroom. I am visual artist, and I am passionate about helping children to express themselves and view the world creatively. I am an advocate for outdoor and nature based play, music and singing, arts and crafts of all kinds. With a focus on social/emotional development and early language development, I approach childcare through a practical yet warm lens. I am a student of early childhood development and interested in how the earliest times of our lives can make the biggest impact. I would also be happy to help with light housework, light yard work, meals, laundry, and caring for pets. I am looking for a family who is willing to pay through a payroll service and provide a W2.
