About Emily

Hi there! I am a current graduate student in the occupational therapy doctoral program at San Jose State University and am looking for one day/week or occasional date night weekend babysitting gigs. I am originally from San Luis Obispo, California and completed my undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies with honors at Colorado State University. I am new to the area of San Jose so I am looking for families to create connections with, but had a great experience nannying all through my undergraduate degree. A little more about me; I love to travel, animals, the outdoors, music, and kids! I have past experience as a preschool teacher at two different schools, have had loads of experience babysitting (ages 10 mo.- 13 years), and have also been a summer camp counselor for various elementary age groups. I also have experience working with neurodiverse children ages 4-21 as I completed my undergrad internship at an equine assisted therapy center. Nice to meet you!
