About Emily

Hi! I'm Emily, a 33-year-old mom to two girls (2. 5 and 8. 5). I've been a nanny for nearly 7 years with the same wonderful family-now their mom is staying home to homeschool. I hold a Montessori 0-3 certification from the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies, and I'm also trained as a full-spectrum doula. I have a degree in baking and pastry arts and am finishing my B. A. in Humanities with a minor in Graphic Design. I also homeschooled my oldest until age 8 and worked as a live-in nanny in my earlier years. My approach is rooted in attachment parenting-I believe in babywearing, time in nature, messy sensory play, and encouraging independence and curiosity. I'm CPR/first aid certified, trained in safe sleep, registered in the Oregon background registry, and have my Oregon child care food handler's card. I'm confident managing multiple children and love building strong, lasting relationships with families. I'd love to connect and see if we're a great match!
