About Emily

Hi! I'm Emily, a 33-year-old mom to two girls (2. 5 and 8. 5). I was a nanny for nearly 7 years with the same wonderful family before their mom transitioned to homeschooling. I'm Montessori 0-3 certified, trained as a full-spectrum doula, and finishing my B. A. in Humanities with a minor in Graphic Design. I also homeschooled my oldest until age 8 and was a live-in nanny earlier in my career. My approach is rooted in attachment parenting, nature play, and supporting independence. I'm CPR/First Aid certified, have training in safe sleep, and am on the Oregon background registry with a child care food handler's card. I'm looking for a position where I can bring my 2. 5-year-old with me until she is old enough for preschool at age 3. I've done this successfully before with both of my girls. The nanny job I worked for 7 years started with my oldest coming (she was almost 2) and in that time I also had my youngest and was able to bring her. I'd love to connect and see if we're a great fit!
