About Emily

Hello! I have assisted in care-taking for two elderly grandparents, both over the age of 90, for multiple years. This has included everything from personal care, meal preparation, house cleaning, running errands, fun outings, technology wizard (calling their friends and setting up their programs to run on their TV's), reading old or new letters and books to them, being an attentive audience and scribe as I ask about their lives and take sentimental notes for our family, to providing support and medication during hospice for both grandparents. I have also worked as a Victim Advocate for almost 3 years providing trauma informed care to survivors of crime and abuse through individual and group services. My first jobs were Pet Sitter, Nanny, and an After School Facilitator. l truly love spending quality time with elderly people and would love to do anything from cooking their favorite meals, helping them get dressed, to collecting their stories and traditions for their loved ones to keep.
