About Emily

Hi! I'm Emily, a patient and enthusiastic tutor who loves helping students learn and build confidence! I began tutoring in high school, helping students with Latin, math, and reading. In college, I tutored English and worked as a chemistry teaching assistant. I hold a bachelor's degree in Chemistry with a minor in Biology, am a certified phlebotomist, and have additional medical education from my time studying at an osteopathic medical school. My strongest subjects are English, Chemistry, and Anatomy & Physiology, with a special passion for A&P labs and hands-on learning! I understand that everyone learns differently and enjoy making challenging concepts easier to understand. Whether it's mastering anatomy, preparing for lab practicals, working through chemistry problems, or improving writing skills, my goal is to make learning engaging, approachable, and fun!
