About Emily

I'd describe my personality as fun, social and patient. I enjoy going out and doing fun activities, but I also love to stay home, clean and reset! I love the determination, curiosity and imagination that comes with working with kids. I've learned to hold a lot of patience with children and see the world through their perspective! One thing you should know about me is I love having a clean and organized living situation. I'm notorious for babysitting and the parents come back to all the chores done! In addition, I have a lot of patience and understanding of how a child might be feeling and processing situations that seem natural to us. This is all new to them and I always remember that when doing day-to-day activities and routines! Working at a few different childcare centers has given me knowledge of games, activities and ways to control and manage a room full of children. I'm going into my fourth year at the UO and am so excited to get to know you and your kids!
