About Emily

Nurturing young minds is truly my passion. My positive experiences babysitting led me to dedicate myself to childcare, and I have three years of experience caring for children. I'm patient, calm, creative, and approachable, which helps me connect with kids. I have some college experience, plus Early Child Development coursework, and am comfortable caring for one child at a time. I communicate with parents at pickup and follow their preferred method. I am comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games. I am also happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, and swimming supervision. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and have First Aid Training. As a doula, I'm also equipped to provide sensitive and supportive care. I speak English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
