About Emily

Hi! I'm Emmie, a San Diego local moving back in May 2024! I graduate with a degree in Biology (B. S.) & Art History (B. A.). I have years of experience working with children in various positions, including Overnight Nanny (ages 7-13), Standard Nanny (ages 2-13), Youth Climbing Coach (ages 3-6), Zoo Educator (ages 3-14), and Kindergarten Classroom Volunteer. I have an immense passion for working with children in any capacity. I would describe myself as a very nurturing, patient, and creative person. I have experience teaching children in both climbing, science, and conservation, all of which I am immensely passionate about! I am additionally CPR & First Aid certified, and am comfortable performing emergency care. I am most experienced working with children ages 3 through 9, but would love to work with newborns and younger toddlers as well! I am adaptable, quick-to-learn, and open to opportunities!
