About Emily

Hi! I'm Emmie, a San Diego local moving back in May 2024! I graduate with degrees in Biology (B. S.) & Art History (B. A.). I have years of experience working with children in various roles, including Overnight Nanny, Standard Nanny, Youth Climbing Coach, Zoo Educator, and Kindergarten Volunteer. I have an immense passion for working with children. I would describe myself as a very nurturing, patient, and creative person. I have experience teaching children in both climbing, science, and conservation, all of which I am incredibly passionate about! I am CPR & First Aid certified, and comfortable performing emergency care. As a former Veterinary Technician, I am very pet-friendly, from small critters to XL dogs! I am most experienced working with children ages 3-10, but would love to work with newborns and younger toddlers as well! I am adaptable, quick-to-learn, and open to opportunities!
