About Emily

I've been caregiving for 4 years and have fallen in love with it. Learning my clients stories and hearing about their lives brings me so much joy. It's a privilege to be there for people during a part of their lives that can sometumes feel disheartening and uncertain. I've worked with bed bound clients clients with dementia and people who just need a little extra companionship. I typically assist with errands shopping light housekeeping, and meal preparation. Providing care, friendship, a listening ear means the world to me. I have so much respect for the stage of life my clients are in. Helping them to feel as autonomous and empowered as possible is very important to me. My approach centers on building trust through friendship and respect. I'm very empathic and adapt well to changes while handling confusion or agitation with a calm, compassionate demeanor. With every new client I meet I fall more in love with what I do.
