About Emily

Hi families! I am a fully certified teacher, working as an elementary school speech language pathologist in Meriden, CT, for 3 years now. I received my Masters from Sacred Heart University in 2024, where I completed 4/5 clinical internships with school aged children. I received my bachelor's from the University of Rhode Island in 2022. During my time there I worked in a day care with children 3 months to 4 years old, and I babysat for a family with an 8-year-old, a 6-year-old, a 4-year-old, and a 7-month-old. Prior to obtaining my full time job, I worked as a substitute teacher in Meriden with grades PreK-6, so I have a lot of tutoring experience! I have specialty experience working with children with special needs, primarily children with Autism, Intellectual Disability, and Specific Learning Disability, as well as ADHD/ADD. I have always loved working with children, and I am extremely passionate about building meaningful, and loving relationships with my students, and your children!
