About Emily

Born and raised in the Midwest, I am the oldest of 3, and working with children has always been a very natural and intuitive role for me. I have a Bachelor s Degree in Elementary Education and Psychology, 3 years teaching/coaching experience in a Chicago Public School, 15+ years of professional nanny experience (live-in and live-out positions), many years of babysitting, a variety of work with children overseas, and a summer with the littles at Wolfe's Neck Farm. I like to describe myself as a "down on the floor" nanny, always involved and engaged with children. I believe it is my job to provide a safe, engaging, and age-appropriate environment. I love the day to day teachable moments and value time in nature with children at a pace they/I can sink into. I am looking for a legally paid, full-time, long term position with a nanny agreement/contract that includes paid vacation and additional benefits to be determined between us.
