About Emily

I landed my first childcare job in 2013, working in a daycare/early childhood facility. I've worked in various day cares and preschools since, so I've acquired around 12 years experience working with children. I have the most experience with infants and toddlers, but I've worked with children as young as 6 weeks up to 5 years old. I graduated from the Community College of Rhode Island with high honors and a degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Child Development. I'm friendly, compassionate, patient, and loving! I adore children and I'd love to get the opportunity to work with a loving family. I realized I had a passion for caring for children at the age of 17, when I started babysitting for family friends. I love building bonds with children and helping them grow through play and exploration. I'm CPR/first aid certified and have my own vehicle. I'm also a mama myself to a 5-year-old boy!
