I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Child and Family studies in May of 2015 and have been babysitting/tutoring/teaching kids of all ages for over a decade. I am currently a nanny for two precious boys (aged 7 and almost 9) in Denver. I have been their full time nanny since 2018 (over 8 years!) since the oldest was 5 months and the youngest was 4 weeks. My position with them is coming to an end the first of October and I am looking for another wonderful family to work with long term! I have experience working with just about every age group. I have done everything from nap/feeding/changing schedules to teaching lesson plans/cooking/yoga classes! Out of all of the caregivers we have had for our two boys - two long-term nannies and a few who filled in some gaps - Emily has been by far the best. We hired Emily care for our two boys for 30 hours/week, and made the decision to hire her even though she was only in the area on a temporary basis. We knew from the first day we met Emily that she would be a great fit for our sons. Our older son was struggling with losing his longtime caregiver (who married and had a baby of her own) and Emily was the first person to really get through to him in a long time. She is a natural with children of all ages and truly enjoys the time that she spends with them. At the same time, she is fully willing and able to be firm when needed. The only downside is that we can't keep her forever!! Everyone should be so lucky as to have someone like Emily care for their kiddos!
