About Emily

I'd describe my personality as driven, reliable, caring. I like working with kids because I relate well with them. I do my best to get on their level and help them grow & develop. I'm looking for a job where I can put my passion for working with children to work & help them grow & develop. I started working with kids when I was 13 years old, caring for neighbors' children & holding multiple babysitting jobs through high school. I went to college & graduate school and have been a speech pathologist for the past 12 years, working with children. In my spare time, I like to be outdoors, jog, read, spend time with my family. One thing you should know about me is I'm dedicated to working with kids because I truly enjoy helping others. The idea of helping children develop their independence, learn to find their voice & realize their own potential is such a fulfilling role. My skills include supporting child development, caring for multiple children & experience with special needs.
