About Emily

Hello, my name is Emily. I am passionate about education and have years of teaching experience. :) I moved to Los Angeles in May, but beforehand I was living in Fukuoka, Japan. I was working as an English teacher at elementary and junior high schools for four years. Previous to that, I was working as an assistant art teacher. Also, I have taken some education classes during my time in undergraduate. I am currently working on getting my teaching credentials. I also have experience working with special education children, and will start working part-time as a Paraeducator soon. I offer tutoring in the core subjects, test prep, as well as Japanese language. My husband works remotely, so I don't offer tutoring services in my home. However, I can come to your place or meet at a cafe, library, community center, etc. Thank you! :)
