About Emily

My name is Emily and I have a passion for Spanish and working with kids! With 7 years of classroom experience in a bilingual setting, I have a specialty for helping students who are part of a dual language program. My teaching certifications are in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Bilingual/Bicultural Education, and English as a Second Language. To learn Spanish I studied abroad in Oaxaca, Mexico and in Merida, Venezuela. I also spent time traveling and working in Costa Rica. I have taken a step back from teaching and now work as a Spanish Medical Interpreter.
