I have over six years of hands-on experience as a caregiver to a family member with special needs. I'm well versed in designing and implementing activities to keep someone with special needs engaged. I'm proficient in preparing food based on each person's individual needs. I am CPR and first aid certified and well educated with the use of computers. I can handle a patient safely and adhere to good sanitation standards. I am good at time management and always punctual at work. I respond to emergencies as fast as possible. I am agile and empathic in what I do. I am an effective communicator which makes me work well with my clients. I perform first aid and emergency response procedures when necessary or call for paramedics if the situation is dire. I can prepare and serve meals, assist with keeping good hygiene, assisting in bathing, changing and toilet. I can perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry. I assist clients with mobility issues and design activities that involve them to move around to exercise.
