About Emilie

Hi! My name is Emilie, and I'm a 21-year-old psychology student with hopes of becoming a child therapist one day. I've always felt drawn to children because of the way they move through the world-with curiosity, honesty, and a sense of wonder that I think many adults can learn from. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to babysit children ages 5-12, coach young gymnasts, and mentor middle schoolers, experiences that have taught me that children thrive when they feel seen, encouraged, and free to be themselves. As someone who spent over 10 years as a gymnast, I love being active, playing outside, exploring nature, and finding creative ways to make everyday moments fun. I believe childhood is a time to explore, create, ask questions, and grow into who you are. Whether we're making art, building forts, reading stories, or simply talking about the world around us, my goal is always to create a space where children feel safe, valued, and genuinely cared for.
