About Emilia

I'm currently a sophomore at the University of Georgia. Originally from Austin, Texas, I'm the oldest of three siblings, which naturally shaped my caring, dependable nature. Over the past year, I've balanced school and community involvement with intention and dedication, and have love becoming a part of the Athens community. My experience is both a camp counselor and babysitter has helped me build strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. I genuinely enjoy working with kids and always strive to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for them to learn and grow. I'd describe my personality as responsible, caring, and energetic. I like working with kids because I enjoy connecting with each of them and being someone they can look up to and trust. I enjoy creating fun, safe environment, where they can be themselves, learn, and grow.
