About Emilee

Each student has unique potential and deserves a tutor who builds confidence and fosters a love for learning.. By observing how you interact with new material and being curious about your experience, I adapt my methods--whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or interactive discussions--to suit your specific needs. I keep you engaged by connecting complex concepts to your personal interests and breaking down difficult problems into manageable steps. I value clear communication, and prioritize regular updates with parents to ensure we are working as a team. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master a challenging skill is the most rewarding part of my work. I hold a degree in neuroscience, received a 35 on the ACT, have presented at national conventions of the best practices for building self-efficacy in students, and am ready to support your academic journey in Math, English, Science, and test preparation. I look forward to helping you reach your goals.
