About Emilee

I have my BA in Theatre from Columbia College Chicago and approach learning through play and moment based activities. I am passionate about working with young children because I love to watch them grow and use their imaginations. I have over a year of experience working as a substitute teacher for Chicago Public Schools where I worked primarily with Pre-K and Kindergarten students. This summer I had the opportunity to teach at a summer camp in Kenilworth where I worked with Kindergarteners and 3-4-year-olds. In my free time I like to read and write and I would love to read with your child. I also enjoy doing sensory activities and crafts that exercise fine motor skills. I am looking for a babysitter/nanny position with consistent hours. Full time is nice but I can also do after school as I am I licensed substitute teacher. I would be willing to work over time if agreed upon and at a higher rate.
