Caring for children isn't just something I do-it's what genuinely lights me up. Over the past two years, I've had the joy of working with kids from 6 weeks old to 12 years, and I love discovering what makes each child unique-whether that's soothing a newborn, sparking creativity through play, or helping older kids build confidence and independence. I'm CPR certified and bring a naturally calm, patient, and nurturing presence into every home. Families often appreciate how I balance safety and structure with fun, creating an environment where kids feel both secure and excited to learn and explore. I'm currently in college pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education, so I'm always growing in my understanding of how children think, learn, and thrive-and I bring that knowledge into my everyday care. If you're looking for someone who will truly engage with your child and treat their well-being as a top priority, I'd love to connect and answer any questions you may have!
We have been incredibly fortunate to have Emilee as our nanny since December, and we can’t recommend her highly enough. She is dependable, reliable, has never been late, and is flexible to stay longer when we need the extra help — a level of consistency that brings real peace of mind to our family. She is incredibly mature and level-headed for her age and brings meaningful experience from her previous role as a head teacher at a daycare, where she cared for up to 14 children at a time. Our son was in her classroom before we had to pull him out of mainstream daycare due to severe asthma related to recurrent respiratory infections. During that difficult period, Emilee was our son’s favorite teacher and a steady, reassuring presence for both him and us, as she never once called out and was with him every day he was there. She monitored him closely, knew what symptoms to look for, was highly attentive to his health needs, and always communicated any changes or concerns to us immediately. That level of vigilance, consistency, and communication meant everything to us at the time and speaks volumes about her professionalism and character. She is CPR and First Aid certified and is currently pursuing her degree to become a daycare director. As a caregiver, she is warm, gentle, and patient, stays calm during tantrums, redirects our toddler thoughtfully, and promotes development and learning by creating a safe, calm, fun, and encouraging environment. Our son has been healthy, happy, and safe in her care and is truly thriving with her. They spend their days exploring the outdoors outside, playing hide-and-seek (a new favorite of my son), reading stories, doing crafts, and learning new skills like counting, learning the alphabet, and using toddler-safe scissors (another new favorite). She consistently goes above and beyond — even purchasing her own books and activity materials without me asking. Our son lovingly calls her “Miss Ami,” which says more than we ever could. We trust her and feel incredibly lucky to have her as part of our family. Any family would be fortunate to work with her.
