About Emilee

Hello! My name is Emilee and I've had the pleasure of working with children for 6+ years now. I'm looking for a second gig outside of my regular 9-5, as a floater at a daycare that services children between the ages of 14 months-5 years old. I enjoy getting to know a child and their personality as no child is the same, and they all learn and respond to things differently! My goal is always to create a large sense of safety and positivity with the child and the family. Open communication, positive redirection, and incorporating fun into every task, whether academic or not, are things I focus on heavily when working with children and families, and when building those important bonds. Now, while I am typically a daycare/head-start program worker, I'm not new to babysitting, nannying, housecleaning or dog-sitting! I've done quite a bit of both throughout those 6 years of experience I mentioned and would love to branch out to families that may not be aware of the services I offer. :)
