About Emery

I'm a reliable and experienced babysitter with 7 years of childcare experience! I grew up caring for children in my neighborhood and had the unique experience of growing up with 25+ foster children in my family, many of whom were under age 2. Most of my experience is with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, but I'm comfortable with children of any age, any size family, and pets. I recently graduated from the University of Iowa with a BA in Interdepartmental Studies and a minor in Spanish. I've worked as a phlebotomist at University of Iowa Hospital and volunteered at a free medical clinic. I'm currently spending my gap year becoming an EMT and have recently renewed my BLS certification. I love being active, spending time outdoors, doing crafts, and keeping kids engaged and having fun! I'm tidy, organized, punctual, and happy to help with homework, meals, errands, and pets. I also have a valid licence and reliable car, so I am happy to use it when helpful.
