About Emerson

My name is Emerson. My goal is to help my student understand how to approach difficult writing tasks and how to adapt learned skills to fit into whatever assignment they might come across. I have been tutoring for two years now. I'd describe my personality as Hard working, Excitable, and Understanding I like tutoring because it allows me to connect with a student and use that bond to help them grow into someone they may have never thought they could be. I'm looking for a job that allows for face to face communication that encourages a passion for learning and a dedication to self improvement. In my spare time, I like to read books, do theatre, and hang out with friends. One thing you should know about me is I'm incredibly dedicated to making sure my student learns the material, no matter how long we have to work together. My skills include teaching scaffolding of tasks, teaching memorization devices, and my lack of judgement of students for their mistakes.
