About Emerald

Hi my name is Emerald and I'm 18, I have always had a deep passion for helping others, especially the elderly. My personal experience in caregiving comes from taking care of a family member for the past four years. Although it was an unprofessional setting, this experience helped me develop essential skills such as patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations with grace. During my time as a caregiver, I learned how to assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. I also became proficient in monitoring medication schedules and ensuring a safe environment for the individual. Through my dedication and commitment, I was able to provide emotional support and companionship, creating a positive and nurturing atmosphere. I am highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills, I am also comfortable working independently or as part of a team, and I adapt quickly to new environments.
