About Emera

Even though I don't have formal babysitting experience with families outside of my own, I have spent several years caring for children in my personal life. I have regularly watched my nieces and nephews, as well as the children of close friends and family members. Through these experiences, I have learned how to keep kids safe, entertained, and comfortable while also handling responsibilities like preparing meals, helping with homework, and maintaining routines. Caring for children I know has helped me build patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond calmly in different situations. I have a college degree and am EMT certified. I provide regular updates via text or phone call, following your preferred communication method. I'm also comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, physical games, board games, and puzzles. I'm happy to help with light housekeeping. I look forward to bringing my calm energy and imagination to your family.
