About Emem

I love working with kids because they are so honest and funny! I started working with kids when I was barely more than a kid. I helped in the children's church of the church I grew up in starting at 13. These days I Co-Chair the CC ministry of my current church, which is so full circle. In my spare time, I like to read and write and get fashion and home decor inspo from Pinterest! One thing you should know about me is I've quite tall and because of my height I have convinced myself I can do any physical task! I love being active, I used to run track, but now it's mostly walking, yoga, and pilates for my poor joints. My skills include helping kids feel safe, listened to and loved. I volunteer weekly with children age range 3-12. I've completed trauma informed child care trainings. I work in the medical field, I am CPR/BLS certified.
