About Emely

My name is Emely, I am a recent Rutgers graduate. I have worked in various preschools and am currently part of an elementary after school program. My patience and understanding are my greatest strengths when working with kids, along with being caring, gentle and charismatic. I am bilingual, I speak both English and Spanish. I'd describe my personality as calm, charming, and considerate. I like working with kids because I genuinely enjoy witnessing children reach major milestones in their development as well as being able to be a guidance, an educator and a cheerleader for them. I started working with kids when I was a senior in high school in 2019. In my spare time, I like to read books, discover new movies and tv shows to watch, or sometimes discover a new hobby. One thing you should know about me is I am timid at first, generally a reserved person, but I am also a hard worker and I get along very well with others. My skills include patience, deescalation and creativity.
