I've cared for children ages infant to 12. I was an elementary school teacher for 15 years and hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Reading and Literacy. (I'm in Asheville for the next 4 years pursuing my doctorate in Chinese Medicine.) I enjoy children and can find a balance between being playful and engaging, while offering positive behavior management with a focus on intrinsic motivation. I'm interested in work that is a little more flexible and can accommodate studying and a few trips per semester. I'm happy to do date nights and/or fill in for your full time nanny when they need time off. I look forward to sharing fun and educational experiences with your children!
