About Emelia

Hello! My name is Emelia and I have 11 years of experience caring for children ages 7 weeks old to 14 years old. My experience has been the main inspiration for my career choice; I have a degree in Psychology from Temple University where my focus was infant/child developmental psychology and behavioral neuroscience. I believe it's essential to foster the natural creativity that kids are born with through art and music, and I'm always excited to see the things that kids create! I like to keep things tidy and I have a few healthy recipes up my sleeve to accommodate even the pickiest of eaters. It can be scary to be away from your family as a kid, and that's why it is of the upmost importance to me that the kids I'm caring for feel as comfortable and happy as possible. Depending on the age of your child(ren), I'd love to bring over books, games, art supplies, and other activities for us to do!
