About Em

I'm Em, and I have been in Early Childcare for 13 years. I specialize, and I am trained in, emotional and cognitive development, specifically through intentional and gentle language. I worked as a pre-k teacher for 2 years and found the private side to be much more rewarding for my passion and interest in the field. I fully believe in modeling behaviors for children, as well as honoring and respecting autonomy. Child-led play is the way I function and support their development. As well as Montessori, RIE, and Reggio Emilio Approach. I am willing to enter into a contract for a minimum of 6 months, max 2 years. My rates include: developmental support and activities, creating a daily rhythm, sleep training, boundaries, attachment style support, light housekeeping centered around the child(ren). I can provide 3 references, and I am affiliated with the Philly Nanny Network as well. I love being outside as much as I can with kids, as well as using music to support and encourage development!
