Hi! My name is Emanuela, & I am a 9th & 10th grade English teacher and department head. This is my 8th year of teaching; I love it! Ever since I could remember, I have had a love for children & teens. While growing up, I was close with 1 particular family, who I worked with for years. It's been rewarding watching their 2 girls grow up. I currently babysit for one family once or twice a month. I help with homework, driving to & from places, running errands, playing games, doing crafts, doing light cooking & cleaning, staying overnight (for multiple days in a row, if need be), watching pets, & most importantly, caring for them like they are my own little sisters/brothers. For the past 5 summers, I even worked at a 3 week camp (offered through the school I teach at) ranging from 5th-8th graders. I am willing to really help your child/ children (and pets) in any way I can. There is no doubt in my mind that I will provide the best care for your family!

Emanuela was great! We instantly connected before we even met duing our phone conversation. It was my husband's birthday and we just needed a date night to celebrate. Finding care for our son, Jacob, is challenging to say the least because he has Down syndrome and type 1 diabetes, and a few obnoxious behaviors that are typical for a 12 year old boy. Emanuela was a trooper. With liitle prior knowledge of type 1 diabetes, we showed her how to use Jacob's insulin pump/ monitor. She asked many questions so that she wouldn't interrupt us on our date. We told Emanuela she could contact us if she had any questions/concerns. When we got home, Jacob instructed us to go out again because he wanted Emanuela to stay longer! We were impressed with her willingness to learn how to use the pump and handle Jacob's special needs. We look forward to a long term relationship and many more date nights.
