About Elzbieta

I am a Patient Care Technician at Alexian Brothers Medical Center. My job duties range from helping patients with everyday tasks, such as eating and bathing, to assisting doctors and nurses with clinical procedures. I assist patients with tasks they are unable to do for themselves. I help feed the patient if necessary, also help patients walk, or position themselves comfortably in their beds, get dress and bathe. In addition, I assist in basic medical procedures, include assisting doctors and nurses with treatments, reporting patient conditions, and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature. A patient care technician may also draw blood or help perform electrocardiographs. In addition from over 10 years I help one family keep their home clean: sweep, scrub, mop floors, vacuum rugs, shampoo upholstery, dust and polish furniture. I am responsible, independent, flexible, multitasking and willing to do everything in the way you prefer.
