Hey families! My name is actually Asher, or Ash. I started going by that name last year, and I am unable to change my Care profile to be different from my legal name. My legal name is Elyssa, and that is what you will see on this app, and all of my documents should we move forward. I have been caring for children since I was about 8 years old, being the full time caregiver for my 3 younger siblings. Since then, I have been professionally caring for peoples children in their homes for about 5-6 years. Having cared for children from such a young age it just feels natural to me, and I enjoy every minute of it. I have worked with newborns, twins, children on the Autism spectrum, and I have even done some homeschooling. I would love to meet your family and see if we fit!

Elyssa was great with our kids (9 and 6 years old). She is very flexible and adapted to our parenting style and needs quickly. She has a lot of patience, which was great for us as she was our homeschool learning coach/nanny for both our kids (3rd grade and kindergarten). Our oldest kiddo is Autistic and needs reminders to focus and help through being overwhelmed with the school work at times. She would help him through this while also answering questions the kindergarten had. When the kids were not in school she would keep their minds growing with educational games (math and English).
