About Elybeth

I've been working with children for over 10 years and have several years of tutoring experience helping elementary students grow in math, reading, English, and basic computer skills. My goal is to help children truly understand what they're learning, not just memorize it. Every child learns differently, so I take the time to figure out what works best for them, whether that's hands-on activities, visual examples, games, or breaking concepts down into smaller steps. I'm patient, encouraging, and know when to be firm to keep students focused and motivated. I believe communication with parents is just as important as working with the child, so I always keep families updated on progress. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a student gain confidence and realize they're capable of doing something they once struggled with. If references are needed, I'd be more than happy to provide them.
