About Elshadai

Hi, I'm a recent Northwestern grad who majored in film and art. I'm also the oldest of four, and helping raise my little sisters (now 11 and 12) has been one of the greatest joys of my life. They've shaped who I am and sparked my passion for supporting and inspiring kids. I am extremely responsible and reliable, CPR + First Aid certified, have extensive experience substitute teaching in K-12 classrooms across all five boroughs in NYC, have personally tutored children, supported children's programming at a library, and taught kids in an art studio. I love sharing my passions for art, movies, writing, and creativity, and I strive to create a safe, fun, and encouraging space where kids can grow and be themselves. Also, I am very responsible and open to any reasonable tasks asked of me-- whether it be meal prepping, changing diapers, driving the children places (school, extracurriculars, etc.), navigating public transport with them, tutoring in different subjects, etc.
