I've been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, growing up on a farm where caring for them was just part of everyday life. Since moving to the Chicago area three years ago, that love hasn't changed. I have two dogs who are truly my best friends, including my 15-year-old, which has given me a lot of experience with senior pet care and administering medication. I've also cared for a pug who passed away, and during that time I administered insulin shots, so I'm comfortable handling more specialized care with patience and attention. I love both dogs and cats (and all animals), and I treat every pet like they're my own. I'm an experienced walker and stay active, walking my 80-pound dog almost every day during the summer, so I'm more than happy to handle dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, friendly, and responsible. In my spare time, I like to read, spend time with friends, walk around the city or get a coffee, or go on runs.
