About Elm

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, curious, adventurous, and kind I love working with kids and getting to see them flourish and grow into a full and genuine person. I started working with kids at age 11 when I started working with my local churches 3-4-year-old group, I haven't stopped working with kids in one way or another since. I currently work in the summer camp industry, as a daycamp coordinator In my spare time, I like to hike, fish, shoot my bow, listen to audiobooks, travel, and thrift! Im am an Outdoor Educator by trade, and studied non-profit management in college. In the summer I run a daycamp at a summer camp in north carolina, and am a retreats specialist/ outdoor educator in the off season My special skills involve getting kids outdoors and interested in the world around them, as well as compassionate and patient homework help (as I know how it is to cry out of frustration at a math problem!) as well and instilling a sense of critical thinking.
