About Ellissa

Nurturing children's growth is a true passion of mine. I hold a graduate degree in community counseling with a concentration in play therapy. I have two children of my own ages 11 snd 15. I have worked within the CMS school system and with several nonprofit agencies in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg community whose focus has been on families with children. I currently work full-time in higher ed and am looking for supplemental income doing something where I can have a direct impact on children and their families. I'm happy to prepare meals and perform light housekeeping. I'm comfortable caring for one child at a time or multiple children and will always follow your lead when it comes to household rules and communication preferences. I'm eager to bring my enthusiasm and skills to your family, creating a safe and happy environment for your little ones to thrive. I am mostly available on weekends making it perfect for you to get out for a date night!
