About Ellise

Growing up, I had 2 younger brothers and very busy parents, so I often found myself as their caretaker. When I was old enough to get a job I worked as a Camp Counselor for summers with kids of all ages and needs. While Counseling, I worked with children who required a Montessori or aid where I learned their little tricks to keep them focused or involved in the camps activity. During my high school career, I participated in Cheer leading, where we hosted camps and clinics for young athletes in elementary and middle school. It was an amazing experience to watch these all these kids in Cheer Camps and Summer Camps explore and grow! Other than Camps, I've babysat for a few families. One family I worked for had 2 sets of twins, 6 and 4, I am more than comfortable working with more than one child or same age kids. I'm currently enrolled at GCU to earn a degree in Science and Nursing where I hope to work as a Pediatric Nurse. I am CPR Certified and First Aid Certified.

We were visiting and needed a babysitter to watch our 3 year old daughter while we worked remotely. As new parents we were very nervous leaving our daughter, but Ellise was a perfect match! She was kind and our daughter gravitated towards her right away. As you you can imagine there's not much "entertainment" you can pack while traveling and staying in a hotel room is never fun for a toddler. Ellise went above and beyond to meet our needs. She came with a backpack full of goodies! Ellise was ready to go swimming and had lots of art supplies. Our daughter loved playing with Ellise and she still asks about when her "big friend" can come back to play with her. Best of all, Ellise kept in constant communication with us. We were so happy with the experience we can't wait to return!
