About Ellie

Hi! My name is Ellie, and I have a bachelor's degree in Recreation, Tourism, and Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Northern Iowa. I have experience working with children, teens, and individuals with disabilities through recreation programs, camp, mentoring, and direct support. Most recently, I worked as an Assistant Director of Programs and Staff at a residential summer camp, where I helped coordinate daily activities, support staff, and create a safe, welcoming environment for participants. I also have experience providing individualized support based on people's needs and goals. I love creating fun, meaningful activities and getting to know the people I work with. I'm patient, dependable, and believe in making sure everyone feels included, comfortable, and supported.
