About Ellie

Hi! I'm a recent graduate of LSU Health New Orleans, where I earned my Master of Communication Disorders in Speech-Language Pathology. My educational and clinical experiences, along with over 10 years of babysitting, have strengthened my childcare skills. My clinical experience includes working with children ages 3-10 in outpatient and school settings, including those with autism spectrum disorder and other speech and developmental needs. I also have experience with AAC devices. During quarantine, I babysat and homeschooled three children for about 30 hours per week. In college, I worked in a pediatric therapy clinic that provided group-based services to support communication, social skills, and development. I also served as a LIFE Mentor at UL at Lafayette, supporting college students with neurological and intellectual disabilities.
