About Ellie

Hi!! My name is Ellie, I work at the American School for the Deaf as a teacher aide in the pre-k classroom. I am comfortable communicating in both English and Sign Language and I have experience working with kids who have special needs. I am a full time occupational therapy graduate student at the University of Hartford! I'm hoping to find a family/families that I can provide support to during after school hours. I'd describe my personality as fun, easy going, and bubbly I like working with kids because they remind me that life is fun, silly, and full of wonder I'm looking for a job that works with my schedule and provides support for families in need In my spare time, I like to ice skate, hike, travel, and study for school! One thing you should know about me is I loved a schedule! It helps me stay on top of my work and plan accordingly. My skills include communicating in English and ASL, working with multiple children at once, and being proficient in cooking and cleaning!
