About Ellie

My name is Ellie . I am the second oldest of six kids and have grown up babysitting and helping my mom with my siblings. For the last five years, I have been a nanny for a 9-year-old boy who has autism, anxiety and ADHD. I have loved every second of it. In these last three years I have learned some serious patience and how to handle children who have different needs than I am used to. We have spent a lot of time together from picking him up after school, taking him to summer camp, staying with him for multiple days while his parents are out of town, and this summer, doing an at home summer school program with him. I also spent a summer with a little boy who has down syndrome where we played, colored, read, jumped and sang together. I have loved both of these two boys and the experiences I have had by getting to know them. They have both taught me a lot and made me a more qualified nanny!
