About Ellie

I'd describe my personality as caring, patient, and hardworking. I like working with kids because I enjoy making a positive impact on kids and their families lives. I am currently in my third year at UW Whitewater majoring in elementary education and my passion for making positive impacts on kids and families lives inspired me to go when choosing to go into teaching. I started working with kids when I was around 16 years old and started nannying during the summers in my hometown. One thing you should know about me is that I truly care about creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment for kids. Helping children grow and succeed is something I'm genuinely very passionate about. One important skill I have is patience. I believe this is one of the most important skills you can have. Patience helps me to respond effectively to a range of emotions and behaviors. Another important skill I have is, strong communication skills which is essential in creating connections with families.
