About Ellen

Unlocking your unique academic potential is my primary goal. With three years of tutoring experience, I specialize in English instruction by fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I assess your individual style through active observation, tailoring my approach with visual aids, hands-on activities, and targeted practice. When concepts become challenging, I bridge the gap by connecting lessons to your personal interests to keep you engaged. I believe clear communication between tutor, student, and parent is essential for building the trust necessary for your success. Nothing compares to the joy of witnessing your "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. Whether we meet online or at a center, I am dedicated to creating a supportive, patient environment where your confidence can flourish. I look forward to helping you reach your goals and discovering the excitement of mastering new skills together.
